Congradulations to all SUMMUP members (also belonging to AFSCME Council 93) who gave your time doing labor walks, phone banking, sign holding,writing letters,attending rallies, etc. during these campaigns. You were a big help in bringing sucess to the hisctoric election of Barack Obama and in defeating ballot question #1 to rollback the income tax in Massachusetts.

SUMMUP members have always been there when important issues for AFSCME Unit 2 members have been one the line and you have continued to carry on the fight for the best interests of our members.

This is now a our chance to help create change in our country that will further benefit all working families.That will mean more hard work to push for legislation, etc. that will create the change we need in our country and in our commomwealth. It does not stop here but we know the presence of SUMMUP will be there as we continue our quests for workers rights,better health care for all,and an economy that works for all working families.
