The Massachusetts Democratic Party will be holding its State Convention on Saturday June 7th, 2008 at the Tsongas Arena in Lowell.  It is so important to have a strong labor presence at these events to ensure that labor issues have a big place in the Democratic Party’s platform as we move into these historic elections. 

Interested? Please take the following steps:

1. You must be a registered Democrat by December 31, 2007 to be eligible.
2. Show up at your Town/City’s Caucus. Caucuses are being held between Feb. 2nd and 10th.  The dates, times and locations of each community’s Caucus will be listed in your local paper, and www.massdems.org. 

• You can call your town’s Democratic Town Committee Chair for more information about your town. Their contact info is available on-line at www.massdems.org.
• If you live in a very politically active city, we advise you to bring at least a few other registered Democrats from your city so they can vote for you.
