Local 665 - Glavin

Glavin, Local 665, is the major Union at the Glavin Regional Center located in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. The local has approximately 145 members. This will increase once two new group homes currently under construction are complete. These groups homes are scheduled to open in April 2007.

Directions to local are:

From 495, take Route 9 West, to Shrewsbury. Lake Street will be on the left at the intersection of Borders Book Store.

From 146, take Mass Pike Exit and follow to Route 20 East. Once in Shrewsbury, Lake Street will be on left just after Dunkin Donuts (on right). Once you turn onto Lake Street, go to fork and bear right and continue up Lake Street. The Glavin Regional Center will be on your left.

From Mass Pike, take Exit 10, and then follow to Route 20 East. Once in Shrewsbury, Lake Street will be on left just after Dunkin Donuts (on right). Once you turn onto Lake Street, go to fork and bear right and continue up Lake Street. The Glavin Regional Center will be on your left.

From 290, take Route 9 East, to Shrewsbury. Lake Street will be on the right at the intersection of Borders Book Store.

Union Meeting

There will be a Union Meeting on Thursday, May 31, 2007 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM in the Break Room.  All Local 665 Union Members are strongly encouraged to attend.  Topics for discussion will include:Contract Update (1YR Extension), Incentive Program, Upcoming Contract Negotiations (October), Communications (Local and Union Wide), and Binding Arbitration vs. No Strike Claus.
